Introduction       By: Alfredo De La Fe

When I first undertook the project of creating this newsletter I had no idea how much work would be involved. After the first few weeks I quickly developed a new level of respect for those that produce such works on a regular basis.

My goal is to produce a bi-monthly newsletter that will be of value to collectors of ancient numismatics, but I need your help if I am going to make this happen. I need your feedback (both positive and constructive criticism are welcome), suggestions and if you are able, submissions of articles, book reviews and press releases.

Hopefully we will be able to continue providing articles for both the beginning and seasoned collector and introduce different areas of collecting interests as well as provide relevant news of interest to collectors of ancient coins.

While Imperial Coins & Artifacts is a numismatic business, I assure you that I have no intention of this newsletter becoming a bi-monthly advertisement for Imperial Coins. I will only include updates as a separate “article”, in a bi-monthly “Imperial Coins Update” column or as part of the numismatic press releases when and/or if appropriate. (This may also include commercial press releases from our friends and peers of upcoming auctions, book releases or noteworthy accomplishments)

Special thanks to David Hendin, Wayne Sayles and Keith Nurse who have extended permission to use their articles. Their willingness to share their knowledge and expertise speaks volumes in and of itself.

Best Regards,

Alfredo De La Fe
