Notes:     (1) The Aureus presented by P. M. Bruun in RIC VII was published first by Gnecchi, Medaglioni I, 22, 70; the only known specimen lays in the trays of the Royal Coin Cabinet in Copenhagen and is in rather bad shape, due to mounting. Bruun was therefore not sure, if the scepter on the rev. Ends with an eagle or not. Our trial piece answers this question definitively. The rev. Remembers the representations of a largitio, a coin type familiar in connection with the celebrations of AD 330, cf. RIC VII, 629, 170 and pl. 21. (2) Auction XX: Lot No. 455
