Small flan crack at 12:00. Struck on a broad flan. Apparently only two other large silver coins of Eudoxia have been published: a heavy miliarense with reverse Chi-Rho in wreath and mintmark CONS, RIC 46 (R5), pl. 3, and RSC 1, both illustrating the same specimen; and the light miliarense from the same dies as ours in NAC 33. The reverse type of the light miliarense, empress seated facing, hands clasped in prayer, crowned by Hand of God, with crosses in field, also appears on her AE 3 struck at Constantinople, but there with legend GLORIA ROMANORVM and with only one cross in either left or right field, RIC 77-79.
