Notes:     Drusus was the son of Tiberius and Germanicus was the nephew of Tiberius. Here we have in one coin the Emperor and the expected successors. But, it wasn't to be. In 19 AD Germanicus died under suspicious circumstances, and then within a few years Druses was poisoned by his wife. It was a great tragedy for the empire that both of these able heirs died and left Caligula to ultimately inherit the throne.
