Notes:     Sale: Triton X, Lot: 128 Wonderful archaic style The original attribution of this series to Lete was based on Svoronos' incorrect reading of a late, inscribed issue. More recent studies, and an exceptional inscribed example in Leu 81 (lot 147), clearly show that the ethnic is CIRINON (in retrograde) for the town of Siris (modern Serres).
