Notes:     Sale: CNG 72, Lot: 733 Possibly unique. This coin appeared in the market alongside known issues of Themistokles and his son, Archepolis, but does not appear in NollÉ & Wenninger’s corpus of their coinage, nor has another appeared in the recent sales of their coinage. While the obverse type is novel, a similar reverse type of an eagle flying appears on issues of both rulers. Additionally, the general style and fabric of the flan is consistent with Themistokleian issues.
