Ex Numismatica Ars Classica 15 (18 May 1999), lot 488.Struck to commemorate the formal founding or dedication of the city of Constantinople. This particular issue was the companion to another 1/3 siliqua with the types Roma / Large P. The letters on the reverses, K and P, represent the first initial of each city in Greek form (as this series was issued in the east).
