Notes:     ($150) Nero created the Legio I Adiutrix in 66 or 67 from the sailors stationed at Misenum, and Galba formally recognized the legion after it took part in the civil war of 69 AD. It then served under Domitian and Trajan in the Dacian and Parthian Wars. By the time of Septimius Severus, they were permanently home-based in Pannonia, and served under Severus' command while he was governor there.
